Following the overwhelming response to our first Crelicam Ebony Maker's Choice, we knew this remarkable tonewood would return, but never as a repeat. The vision was to create an entirely different instrument, showcasing the same extraordinary timber through a fresh tonal and aesthetic direction.

At the heart of this instrument is a breathtaking set of Crelicam Ebony from Aaron Fenech's private Masterbuilt tonewood collection. Reserved for only the most exceptional builds, it is paired with an outstanding Old Growth Sitka Spruce soundboard selected for its remarkable responsiveness, strength-to-weight ratio and beautiful natural silk figure.

Together, these two world-class tonewoods create a voice that is articulate, dynamic and exceptionally balanced.

The pairing of Old Growth Sitka Spruce and Crelicam Ebony has long been admired for its exceptional clarity, powerful projection and wide dynamic range. Built in our Auditorium body shape, this Maker's Choice delivers impressive note separation, a responsive attack and a beautifully balanced tonal character that adapts effortlessly across a wide variety of playing styles.

Refined Design Details

Every appointment has been thoughtfully selected to complement the character of the timber.

Indian Rosewood bindings frame the instrument, while an Indian Rosewood-bound soundhole features a striking ring of Australian Fiddleback Blackwood whose tiger-striped figure provides a beautiful contrast against the Sitka Spruce top. A figured Ebony headplate echoes the dramatic back and sides, while Australian Mother of Pearl inlays add an elegant finishing touch.

Crafted Without Compromise

Open-gear machine heads and Aaron's latest Masterbuilt bridge design reflect years of refinement, bringing together timeless styling with outstanding performance. Completing the instrument is an ultra-thin gloss finish that reveals the remarkable depth of the Crelicam Ebony, creating an almost three-dimensional appearance as light moves across its spectacular figure while allowing the guitar to resonate with exceptional freedom.
